Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Kabuby processes information while operating as an internal business-intelligence and market-research platform under development and validation.
What Kabuby is
Kabuby is designed to identify emerging consumer behaviors, recurring problems, unmet needs, workarounds, trends, solution gaps and potential commercial opportunities. It analyzes publicly available information from multiple authorized data sources. Kabuby currently operates as an internal research platform and does not offer public user accounts.
Information Kabuby processes
Kabuby may process public product, marketplace, search-interest and public-content metadata made available by authorized providers. The specific fields depend on the provider and research question. Kabuby applies data minimization and does not seek private account information or sensitive personal attributes.
Operational security records may include limited technical information needed to protect the service, such as timestamps, request identifiers and error classifications. Credentials and secret values are not intended to appear in public output.
YouTube API Services
Kabuby uses YouTube API Services as one independent source of public-data research. Through the YouTube Data API v3, Kabuby may access publicly available search results and permitted video or channel metadata. Kabuby does not currently use YouTube OAuth, access private YouTube user information or connect to or manage YouTube user accounts.
Kabuby does not upload, edit, delete or manage YouTube content; manage channels or comments; create artificial engagement; or manipulate YouTube metrics.
Use of YouTube-related functionality is governed, where applicable, by the YouTube Terms of Service, the YouTube API Services Terms of Service and the YouTube API Services Developer Policies. Google's handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
How YouTube data is used
Public YouTube API data may be reviewed as evidence of public content, language, topics, problems or workarounds relevant to a bounded market-research question. A public video or search result is an observation, not proof of sales, market demand, user identity, audience demographics or commercial intent.
YouTube is not the sole basis for a Kabuby conclusion. Provider provenance and observation time are retained so YouTube-sourced data can be distinguished from other evidence and from Kabuby's own analysis.
Data storage and retention
Kabuby may temporarily cache limited public, non-authorized YouTube API data only as needed for its research purpose. Such data is deleted or refreshed within 30 calendar days, and reasonable efforts are used to keep stored API data consistent with current YouTube data.
Kabuby does not currently store YouTube OAuth tokens or Authorized Data obtained on behalf of a YouTube user. If this changes, this policy and the relevant consent and deletion controls will be updated before that functionality is enabled.
Any longer retention of eligible statistical data or derived metrics would occur only if Kabuby's applicable analytics use case is accepted under YouTube's additional policies for derived metrics and data storage. Other metadata, including titles, creator names, descriptions and comment text, remains subject to the applicable deletion or refresh requirements.
Derived analysis
Kabuby may create internal market-research interpretations using evidence from multiple sources. Kabuby-generated scores, opportunity classifications, consumer-need interpretations, trend interpretations and commercial conclusions are Kabuby analysis—not YouTube data, YouTube metrics or YouTube conclusions—and are not endorsed or approved by YouTube or Google.
Expanded YouTube-derived metrics are not currently enabled. They will not be enabled unless the applicable YouTube policy and audit requirements have been satisfied.
Other data sources
Kabuby may use other authorized search, marketplace, product-history and public social-data providers. Each source retains its own provenance and role. Evidence from another provider is not presented as YouTube data and does not silently replace unavailable YouTube evidence.
Data sharing
Kabuby does not sell private YouTube user information and does not have access to such information through its current API-key-only integration. Information may be processed by infrastructure or data providers only as needed to operate and secure the internal research platform, subject to applicable terms and law.
Security
Kabuby uses backend-only credential handling, restricted provider operations, HTTPS transport and access controls for internal functionality. No security measure is absolute, but Kabuby is designed to minimize data collection and prevent credentials from entering public pages, client-side code or research output.
Your rights and contact
If you have a privacy question or believe information should be corrected or removed, contact the Kabuby operator at luisfonse2010@gmail.com. Requests are evaluated under applicable law and provider policies.
Policy changes
This policy may change as Kabuby's validated capabilities or legal obligations change. Material updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Kabuby will not enable materially different YouTube data access or retention practices without updating the relevant disclosures and controls.
